I might be broken, but that doesn't make me weak

We all have scars. Sometimes you can't avoid being broken by life. But that doesn't mean you're not worthy, or less-than others. Wear your scars with pride, for they mean you survived, and with each scar you grow stronger (and, in my opinion, more beautiful!).

The Japanese have a beautiful art of 'kintsugi', where they repair broken pottery with gold, making it so much more beautiful and unique than it was before. I love this idea and gave a little nod to this philosophy with gold marks in this painting.

Given its size, this painting will be shipped unstretched to minimise the cost of shipping. You can have it re-stretched locally but do let me know if you have any questions about this.
