The child in me

As children, we don't wonder how to live. We just do.

But then we are taught how to be adults. "You must start taking life seriously," they say.

So you do. You study to become 'someone'. You get a job, sign some contracts. Pay your bills, dress appropriately. Get to work on time each day.

Then, one day, you look around and find...nothing. Nothing that makes any sense. Nothing that means anything.

Or was that just me? 🫣
